What is ListenArc?
ListenArc is a podcast player for iPhone and Apple Watch. It prepares episodes on your iPhone (download, transcript, ads, chapters) and skips the ad breaks it finds.
Does ListenArc need an account?
No. There is no ListenArc account or server. Your library lives on your iPhone; if you turn on sync, it goes through your own iCloud or straight between your devices.
How does ad skipping work?
ListenArc transcribes each episode on your iPhone and an on-device model finds the ad breaks. During playback it skips them and tells you; Undo brings one back, and you can turn skipping off for any show. Detection works on English-language episodes.
Can I move my subscriptions over?
Yes. ListenArc supports importing an OPML export from another podcast app, so your existing subscriptions can come with you.
What does it need?
An iPhone with iOS 26 or later. Writing chapters needs an iPhone with Apple Intelligence; publisher chapters work on any iPhone. Apple Watch is optional.
What does it cost?
ListenArc is free, during the beta and at launch.
