The public beta
ListenArc is in public beta through Apple's TestFlight. The public invitation link is being prepared. Request a beta invitation by email, and install TestFlight from the App Store on your iPhone. Beta builds expire after 90 days; TestFlight offers each new build as it arrives. To report a problem from a beta, take a screenshot and choose Share Beta Feedback, or email us.
Requirements
- An iPhone with iOS 26 or later.
- Writing chapters needs an iPhone with Apple Intelligence turned on. Publisher chapters work on every iPhone.
- Ad detection and transcripts are for English-language episodes.
- Apple Watch with watchOS 26 is optional.
Common questions
ListenArc skipped part of the show, or played an ad.
Tap Undo on the "Skipped" notice to go back. To teach ListenArc, open the transcript: tap "Not an ad" on a skipped block, or select the lines of an ad it missed and mark them. You can also turn off skipping for one show in its settings (show page → ••• → Show settings).
An episode stays on "Preparing" or "Waiting to prepare".
Preparation runs while ListenArc is open, and in the background when iOS allows, which is mostly while the phone is charging. Opening the app lets it continue. If it still doesn't finish, send feedback from Settings → About.
There are no chapters.
Without Apple Intelligence, ListenArc shows chapters only when the publisher provides them. With it, chapters are written after the transcript and ads are done.
How do I move my shows from another app?
Export an OPML file from your old app and open it with ListenArc, or use Settings → Import shows from another app.
How do I use ListenArc on Apple Watch?
Open Settings → Devices → Apple Watch, or a playlist's settings, and choose what to keep on the Watch. Episodes are prepared on the iPhone first, then sent with their ads, so the Watch plays them offline with the same skips.
How do I back up or move my library?
Settings → Your data → Transfer & backup makes an encrypted backup of everything, including downloads. Keep the recovery key it shows; it is needed to restore. Device sync keeps devices in step through your iCloud or directly over your local network.
How do I delete my data?
Delete the app. If you turned on iCloud sync, also remove ListenArc's data in Settings → your name → iCloud. We hold nothing else unless you emailed us; see the privacy policy.
